Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of the US female Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in the year 2016. The Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both team floor and the individual events. The bronze was won through using the balance bar. She became the first American to win the most medals at an Olympics. Her gold medal during the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold for the United States team. This made her, and teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to be able to complete this accomplishment. Silver medals were also awarded for the all-around competition and floor exercise. The break was for three years between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Additionally, she was among the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. Her favorite event is the floor exercise. Gymnastics was her first sport she began to learn when she was two years older. Aly has a strong support for her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. Aly hopes to be a fashion designer and expand the range of her Leotards and socks in near future. Fierce will be published later this summer.
